The preferences tab, also the know as your store settings, is where you set default values, configure details and preferred behavior for all the other tabs in the Hathi Seller Portal app. You will likely need to be coming here often as you adapt to new customer behaviors to your offerings, or notice you are putting too much effort into a particular task and want to make said task quicker.
The most important aspect of this tab is that from here you will navigate to other pages where actual settings are maintained. As a result, this page is brief in content and its importance is only from the linked pages above, such as where to set Shipping policy, configure Billing, etc. We will show you only how to find your preferences.
