One of the important and easiest ways to improve your store's visibility is by presenting and positioning high-quality photos. Store logo and banner are the primary branding elements of your store, and good product images can go a long way in helping your store stand out. In this guide we will talk about store logo, banner, and product images and best practices for each.

File Types

All images in your store should be of .jpeg(.jpg) or .png file types. These are the only image file types Hathi currently supports.

Photo sizes

• Store logo should be a square and the recommended size is at least 500 x 500px.
• Store banner should be a rectangle. The recommended aspect ratio is 4:1 and the recommended size is at least 600 x 150px.
• Product image should be a square and the recommended size is at least 800 x 800px.

Please note that the recommended sizes are the minimum requirements. If you have larger photos you don't need to manually compress before uploading. Always upload the best quality images you can provide.

Resizing Images

When you are in edit mode, a "Resize image" icon on the top right corner of the image will be activated. Clicking on the icon will open a pop-up window using which you can crop, zoom or adjust position of the image. You will also see a preview of the modified image in the same window.
