Overview

The Finances Tab provides you both the summary and detail of your store’s monthly financial statements. Each statement listed in the tab is a summary of your store's monthly activity for a given period, usually a month. Clicking on any statement opens the detail statement ledger, shows the sum of all orders, cost details, and net transfer -if any- from Hathi to you, for that statement.

Therefore, the Finances Tab is also where you can drill down and find the each individual transaction that impacts your monthly statement. After the period is closed based on your store balance Hathi either deposits your earnings into your bank account ( a positive or green balance) or issues an invoice (a negative, or red balance) so you can make payment to us.

Statement List

Each row in the Finances Tab represents 1 Statement with the following fields:

• Period (Month): Indicates the month for which the statement is generated.
• Status: Shows the current status of the statement. Statuses include:
  • Draft: The statement is still being prepared and may be updated.
  • Open: The statement is finalized, but pending actions such as payment issue or receipt.
  • Closed: The statement has been finalized and no changes are allowed.
• Statement Total: The overall total for the activity in the period. This amount is what will need to be transferred between Hathi and you, and is displayed in Rupees (INR), with positive totals shown in green and negative totals in red. This amount does not
• Invoice #: A unique identifier for each statement.
• Start Time: The beginning date and time for the statement period.
• End Time: The closing date and time for the statement period.

Statement View

Clicking into any statement in the Finance Tab takes you to view the statement detail. This view contains 3 major areas:

• Statement,

• Summary, and

• Transactions

  

Statement Section

This section displays most of the information already shown in the Finances tab. Here is where you can download or upload documents that you want to associate with the statement as well.
